About

Hi, I'm Kiah!

I'm a Primary School Teacher and mum, and the founder of Little School Starters.

Little School Starters was created from two of the most important parts of my life—teaching and motherhood.

As a teacher, I've spent years helping children develop the foundational skills they need before and during their first years of school. As a mum, I found myself wanting to provide those same learning opportunities at home for my own children.

Like so many parents, I wanted activities that were meaningful, engaging and actually supported my child's development. But I quickly realised that creating them myself often meant spending hours searching for ideas, printing resources, cutting, laminating and buying materials.

That's when the idea for Little School Starters was born.

I wanted to create beautiful, ready-to-use activity kits that gave families everything they needed to support learning at home—without any of the preparation.

Every activity has been thoughtfully designed using my experience as a Primary School Teacher, while also keeping in mind the realities of busy family life.

At Little School Starters, we believe children learn best through play, repeated exposure and meaningful interactions with the people they love most. Our activities are designed to be flexible and open-ended, encouraging families to follow their child's interests, celebrate progress and enjoy learning together.

Whether your child is just beginning to explore letters and numbers or building confidence before starting school, we're here to help make those learning moments simple, enjoyable and accessible.

Thank you for supporting Little School Starters. I can't wait to be part of your family's learning journey.
